These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loov application (the "Service"), provided by APHVN Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15968200). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Every Character Is AI

Every match, character, and conversation partner in Loov is an artificial intelligence. They are fictional characters, not real people. Loov is an entertainment experience. AI characters do not have feelings, memories outside the App, or an existence beyond it, however lifelike the conversation feels. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate despite our safeguards; you can report any output from within the App and we review reports. The Service is not a substitute for human relationships, companionship services, or professional support of any kind.

2. Not Professional Advice

Nothing an AI character says is advice. Conversations are generated entertainment and are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice. If you are struggling with your mental health or wellbeing, please seek help from a qualified professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You may delete your account at any time within the App.

5. Subscriptions, Gems and Payments

• Some features of the Service require a paid subscription or gems, an in-app virtual currency.
• Subscriptions and gem purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed in your store account.
• Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Gems have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable. Unused gems are forfeited if your account is closed.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to make the AI produce unlawful, hateful, or harmful content, including any content involving minors.
• Create or share characters that impersonate real people without their consent, or that infringe anyone's rights.
• Present AI character output as statements of fact, as a real person, or as the views of APHVN Limited.
• Misuse, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, models, or prompts behind the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.

7. Content You Create

You keep ownership of the characters and content you create, and you grant us a licence to host, display, and share them as part of the Service, including in the community section if you publish them there. We may monitor, review, and remove content that violates these Terms, and we may suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations. In-app reporting is provided for offensive or harmful content, and we act on reports.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, including its characters, artwork, and software (excluding content you create), are owned by APHVN Limited and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the App.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, APHVN Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content or any emotional attachment to AI characters. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
